Mars Holwerda

Mars Holwerda (1967) was born in the Netherlands and graduated at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, where he successively studied graphic design and industrial design.
From 1991 to 2002 he worked as a product designer for various design agencies such as TNO Industry, Indes and Well Design. In addition to this he worked as a freelance graphic and media designer for cultural institutes and public broadcasting.

Since 2002 he is co-founder and partner of studioMOM in Utrecht.

Mars worked for various companies, amongst others: Ahold, Auping, Batavus, Banksys, Bruynzeel Keukens, Bosch & Siemens Hausgeräte, Chanel, Dorc, Douwe Egberts, Heineken, Inventum, Kembo, Maxi Cosi, Nefit, Nedap, Oranjeboom, Philips, Sennheiser, Tiger Products, Unilever, VNU and Widget.

His work has been regularly awarded.

Mars is teaching at the ID faculuty of the Technical University in Eindhoven.
